I believe I can outwit any competitor in this game. I view the mental game of Survivor as a cross between chess and poker; Always a few moves in front of everyone else. This game is just as much of a competition built on social credit as it is physicality. You can play honestly, or you can lie, cheat, steal and beg your way to the end. And using those tactics might be how you outwit your competitors. So whether it be orchestrating a blind side, bluffing my "all-in" moment by making a life or death decision in the game, or risking it all to build my game-winning resume, I will use my sales abilities to coax my fellow castmates and use the necessary skills at the perfect moments, to win this game.

Whether it be strength, endurance, or social ability, the ability to play this game better than everyone else is a key factor to winning. However, outplaying does not simply mean out performing everyone else in physical challenges. It also means making moves before moves are made on you. My whole life has been building up to the moment where I can prove to the jury that I successfully outplayed my competitors. I plan on beating records and setting new ones. This game was made for me.

I've been watching Survivor since I was 17 years old and haven't missed an episode since! Survivor has been the longest running tv show series I have watched and I'm proud to call myself a Survivor Superfan! Over the last 15 years, I have submitted countless auditions waiting for my chance to give this game my all and become a part of the Survivor Alumni!
Background:
I've been in Sales for the last 10 years. Prior to Sales, I worked as a server/manager in a restaurant for 3 years. Both of these fields require an immense amount of patience and understanding. Whether it be dealing with an unhappy customer, upset staff, or cold clients, communication is key! I have been able to fine tune this skillset, spending over $10,000 on professional Sales training.
Hobbies:
For the last several years I have taken a liking to poker. Whether it be playing online, at a casino or home games, the ability to read and deceive people is a skillset learned in poker. Unlike Sales, when I play poker, I am very quiet. Constantly thinking, and reading my opponents. Only once do I have a gauge on the situation, I make a move. The right move at the wrong time could send you home.
Strengths vs Weaknesses:
I do believe I have many strengths that would help me win this game. Not only am I a tough competitor, I also won't give up until my body literally breaks down. Whether it be a physical tribe challenge or a single player endurance challenge, I can go the distance. I may not be the biggest or strongest player, but I can hold my own against anyone. In terms of mental wit and stamina, my mind-frame is unshakeable. Once I assign myself a task, I'm in for the long haul. Whether it be out-starving the competition, or giving up some type of luxury to gain social credit, my mental cog wheels will never stop turning. I may not have the highest IQ but I certainly trust myself to get the job done!
I've just discovered in the process of applying for Survivor that I can't make fire. This is a challenge I need to overcome. Fire making is part and parcel of Survivor and if I can't make fire, that may put me in a dangerous position. Another weakness I know I could improve on is my swimming. Yes, I know how to swim. However, I'm not fast and may lack endurance in the water. This could be looked at as a reason to vote me off if I contributed to a loss, so perhaps I would strategically sit out or be positioned in the challenge as a ball-shooter etc. (whichever position required the least amount of swimming)
Summary:
I love this game! Not only do I love it for the challenges and the entertainment, but for what it represents. Survivor, for many, is a place where you can go to test or find yourself. It's a place that exposes your insecurities while also highlighting your strengths. Survivor is the ultimate challenge and has proven to be so successful because it truly is a microcosm of life itself. I would be honored to be selected as a participant and would love nothing more than to prove to myself that I have what it takes to become not only one of the Survivor Greats, but ultimately The Sole Survivor!
